what 2020 taught me about predictions

how to actually prepare for what’s coming

On December 12, I'm leading my 2025 forecast: Changing of the Guard.

I want to be clear that this isn't a traditional "prediction" forecast.

Although it's possible to predict specific global events based on astrology and intuition, I don't find that useful.

Personally, what I find helpful in a forecast is an understanding of the upcoming THEMES, so that’s where I focus.

In 2020, I knew ahead of time that there would be a global shutdown related to a public health crisis.

Yet, that information wasn't as valuable for me as understanding the lessons, challenges, and opportunities that would be part of that global crisis and the role I was personally called to play within it.

As 2020 approached, I could sense that some of the themes would be:

  • people feeling like the world was ending

  • extreme shadows coming to light

  • growing polarization and us vs. them narratives

  • rising revolutionary sentiment and activist uproars

  • increased censorship and fear-based media that would confuse and overwhelm people

  • following your inner authority amidst pressure from outside forces

Knowing these themes helped me look ahead and decide how I wanted to show up, who I wanted to be during this crisis, what gifts I could offer as service, and where I still needed to develop greater strength and stability.

(Shout out to anyone following me on Instagram in 2019 who saw the IG lives I did about what was coming in 2020 and how to get ready. People thought I was crazy…until they didn't, haha.)

Here’s what I did to prepare in late 2019 and early 2020:

1. I found a place in nature to live where I didn't mind being stuck for a while and had space to create.

2. I recorded the Future World Meditation as a free daily practice to help people connect with a more loving vision of our future beyond all of the fear-based programming. By April 2020, I was leading spontaneous live versions of the meditation for hundreds of people, and many people still use it years later.

3. I created a series of low-cost mini-courses on the themes people would need the most support with, including finding their path of purpose, clearing fear, cultivating authentic optimism during chaotic times, and more.

Throughout the year, I could direct people to these resources when they repeatedly asked me the same questions. (The updated versions of these courses will soon live within Mission Space, my resource library for mission souls.)

4. I looked at my weak spots and got honest about where I was most likely to be hooked by old fears or consumed by distractions. I committed to long-term containers with mentors who reflected the blind spots I couldn't see and helped me stay on track with my mission.

5. I doubled down on daily practices that would help me stay grounded and connected to God and my inner knowing (meditation, long walks, phone-free time, blocking EMFs and blue light, daily writing to keep me in creation mode, etc.).

6. I also audited my life for incompletes and expirations — things I needed to finish or let go of so I could enter a time of great upheaval as clearly as possible.

Does this mean I had an easy, chill 2020? No.

I navigated all kinds of challenges, including multiple cancellation campaigns, ruptured friendships, spiritual warfare, and some of the most intense shadow work I've ever experienced.

However, because of my thematic preparation, I was able to navigate these challenges in way that was ultimately fruitful rather than destructive.

I leaned on my spiritual practices and inner foundations. I was truly of service during a time of massive uncertainty. I birthed some of my legacy-level work, including my audio series Notes on God and my program Holy Liberation, which is still creating impact to this day.

This was all possible because I sensed the storm on the horizon and could prepare physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically for the uncertainty to come.

Whenever I've done a forecast, people report that the most valuable takeaways are how it increased their faith in themselves and God, helped them identify and recommit to what really matters, and boosted their confidence that they can handle whatever's coming.

So, don't expect my 2025 forecast to be full of dates and details on how the global stage might play out.

Instead, I’ll be sharing a deep dive into next year's energetic and spiritual themes—the lessons that may come up, the challenges you may face, the opportunities awaiting you, and practices for making the most of this high-stakes transformational year.

Sound good? Sign up here for the 2025 forecast.

The three-hour forecast event will be broadcast live on Thursday, December 12, at 12 pm Pacific / 3 pm Eastern.

And everyone who registers will receive a recording.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Much love,

Aaron

P.S. If you know that God is calling you to a higher level of contribution, entrepreneurship, and service in 2025, I invite you to apply for Mission Mastery.

Mission Mastery a 12-month inner circle mastermind for mission souls launching into a new era of divine service. And it's the only place I'll be providing direct coaching and mentorship on divine mission and sacred business outside of my 1:1 coaching.

Email hello@aaronxrose.com to inquire about details and the application process. We begin in January, and our God squad is assembling now! Spaces are limited, and I'm curating a uniquely harmonic group for maximum resonance and co-creation.

P.P.S. I shared more about Mission Mastery in a recent IG live about how and why to go ALL IN on your mission. Check it out here.
